In this collection of paintings there are a variety of genres with their origins in POP Art and Surrealism, different approaches to figure painting and works inspired by living and working East Africa. This collection of work is experimental and exploratory in both content and execution with some being whimsical and playful and others contemplative.  Although there was risk taking in the production of these paintings, I just wanted to have fun with subject matter and enter into the zone of high play.
